The hotel is in a prime location with easy access to attractions. Breakfast was decent, but the housekeeping left much to be desired. Had to remind them for room cleaning. it’s a fine place for a quick stay, but service could be better. Perfect for exploring local bars and dining spots downtown.

The breakfast choices were great, but the pool closed too early.

I absolutely loved being just a short stroll from the Willis Tower and Chicago Riverwalk, with Maggie Daley Park and the Art Institute of Chicago also within a 20 minute walk; it was great to have plenty of dining options like Noodles & Company and GRK Greek Kitchen just a few steps away, and the rooms were spacious and clean, perfect for a weekend getaway; however, breakfast could get pretty crowded early in the morning but it was worth it for such a friendly stay.

I had a terrible experience with my room. I booked a king-size bed with a view but ended up in a double room with a leaky bathroom. The new room was better, but I just got a brick wall outside my window.

Location is perfect for exploring downtown and close to public transit. Breakfast was crowded and chaotic at peak times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Watch out for high parking fees.

Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, warm, and delicious with plenty of options, plus great coffee. The staff, especially Dominic, were friendly and attentive. The room was spacious with an awesome city view and felt comfortable. Location was spot-on for exploring. the cleanliness left much to be desired; trash lingered in the room and the couch bed blanket was questionable. Breakfast area was chaotic and overcrowded, making it hard to navigate. Despite its flaws, the friendly atmosphere and superb breakfast made for a memorable stay.

The fitness center is a gem for a workout enthusiast. The breakfast has nice options and the pool is a refreshing escape after a long day.
The buffet gets chaotic on weekends.

Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown - the Loop exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was impressive, with quick restocking of tasty options like cheesy eggs and waffles. The spacious, clean room was a haven of comfort, and the staff's friendliness truly enhanced our experience. A perfect spot for both work and leisure!

Great place for families. The kids loved the theme park and the casino was fun for adults!
It wasn't cheap, but totally worth it.

Excellent location. Close to attractions and easy parking access for $50 per day. The area feels safe, even at night. The pool is a nice touch, though small, and goes to 5 feet deep. Solid breakfast options, but the crowded dining area could use expansion. Staff were outstanding—genuine and helpful. Cleanliness needs improvement; I encountered some instances that fell below standard. The room was comfortable, but my sofa bed wasn’t set up. Issues with shower pressure and supplies not being restocked were frustrating. The experience felt uneven, balancing fantastic service with notable shortcomings. A thorough refresh could elevate this venue significantly.

The bedding was very comfy, providing a restful sleep. A large TV with Chromecast was a nice touch, allowing us to stream our favorites easily. The bathroom featured excellent products and a large shower—definitely a highlight. While the pool felt a bit cramped at times, the fitness center offered great views. Noise levels were kept low, thanks to the discreet cleaning staff. Breakfast options were decent, with quick restocking and plenty of choices to fuel us for exploring.

I felt like a VIP with the welcoming front desk and the range of grab, and, go snacks. The comfy room felt like home, and I could even enjoy a complimentary swim with my family.
Such a joy to wait for hours to get the wrong room , dream come true! .

The room was spacious and comfortable for me and my daughter, providing plenty of space for us to relax after a day of exploring the city. The location made it easy for us to walk to popular attractions, and the staff replaced a broken coffee machine promptly. Additionally, the hotel's Wi-Fi allowed us to stream our favorite shows on the TV. I found the hotel to be convenient and family-friendly.

The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to River North and Michigan Ave made exploring so easy. The big bathroom with a fantastic shower was a nice surprise. The helpful and friendly staff made our check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant.
Some areas could be improved. The beds were a bit small for the price, and the room lacked USB chargers.

I chose this hotel specifically to explore Millennium Park, and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary WiFi throughout the property. The Bar offers thoughtfully sourced, regionally inspired food, premium alcoholic beverages, and specialty coffee drinks, which added a delightful touch to my stay.
High price due to marathon.

Stayed on the 8th floor with stunning city views and the staff was friendly, promptly resolving minor issues. Breakfast options catered to dietary needs with fresh fruit, including bananas and berries. Comfy beds and quality linens for the sofa bed added a touch of homeliness.
Lack of information about parking charges led to unexpected $50 fee in a nearby garage. Pool closure for construction was disappointing, and limited late-night snack options left us wanting more.

The room was pretty spacious and had a nice sitting area - super cozy vibe. When we checked in, it was kind of a mess. Took forever and needed three employees to figure it out. And the room wasn't the cleanest - sticky carpet and mystery stuff on the bathroom walls, yikes. We also had a little situation with the heat not working. Called a few times before they finally brought a portable heater. And get this, one night I came back to the room and the door was wide open! Not cool at all. On the plus side, they did try to make it right by bringing us a portable heater for the room, which was nice. Oh, and they have this coffee and tea setup in the room which was a lifesaver in the chilly mornings. it was an okay stay, nothing too fancy.

Couldn't recommend more.

stayed at the Hyatt Place recently and had a fantastic experience! the facility was clean, rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly nice. the location was perfect for walking to most tourist attractions, only a half mile to Millennium Park and the River-walk. the breakfast had multiple choices and the shower head provided an amazing water pressure. the parking garage was conveniently close to the hotel, making it easy to access.
Not obvious to find 😕

Our stay at a hotel in the financial district of Chicago was absolutely amazing! The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the city streets from the 8th floor. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a different variety each day. The hotel had excellent amenities, such as a well-equipped gym, which we made good use of. We felt safe walking around the area and had no troubles throughout our stay.
Unexpected additional charges and cleanliness issues in the room.
